Amazigh x Animal Print is a personal project focusing on heritage and identity. The collection is an exploration of the North African nomadic Amazigh tribe, combined with the designer’s personal penchant for animal print. Cerbah takes inspiration from the Amazigh tribe’s textiles techniques – specifically focusing on tie-dyeing and layering. The garments are influenced by traditional prints including tartan, circular motifs and stripes. “The thought process behind my collection was to have a modern take on a traditional concept and allow my love for animal print to be incorporated into these designs,” the artist notes.
