For the fourth consecutive year, PhotoPhnomPenh (PPP) will present a programme of 30 exhibitions that aim to increase the dialogue between Europe and Asia. As in previous years, there is no dominant theme to the festival, but a selection of exhibitions that provide a genuine discussion on issues such as the visual environment of Phnom Penh, its architecture and landscape. In its representation of a broad spectrum of narratives, PPP offers a unique glimpse into contemporary Cambodia and how local and projected modes of artistic production form part of the wider global dialogue.

The Politics of Sustenance

The FACE Collection presents Investigations of a Dog. Using the analogy of a dog questioning the origins of food, the exhibition considers what sustains mankind in the 21st century.

A Sensory Experience

The organic sculptures and magical universe of Ernesto Neto take over the gallery at Guggenheim Bilbao, allowing audiences to engage with their senses.

Margriet Smulders’ contemporary vanitas depict petals, berries and leaves floating on water – causing ripples and washes of colour to bleed and blend.
