Designer Flora Mitchell’s aim is to give others the tools and confidence – in the form of garments – to explore and express their true identity without restrictions. Multilayered, non-gender-specific pieces allow the wearer to experiment with how they wish to present themselves to the world. Mitchell’s collection is inspired by a variety of people across time, from the Blitz Kids to Kurt Cobain. The designer notes: “Many of the silhouettes are typically seen as feminine which is something I wanted to challenge in this gender-neutral collection.”
Dominika Szukaj is fascinated by transformations in nature, culture and people; her collection explores the in-between of tradition and avant-garde.
