Fashion designer Nicole Siddle is inspired by the versatility of street style and views it as a way for people to express who they are without having to speak. Comfort, fit and feeling good are of importance to Siddle, whose latest collection Suburbia is influenced by hip-hop culture. She notes: “Even though street style is thought to be quite masculine, it is completely acceptable for women to wear baggy clothes and feel comfortable in them.”
Ella Woodcock’s project is about “collective joy”, and is inspired by the places the artist would go to before the pandemic to enjoy music.
