Unreliable Interpretations

Unreliable Interpretations
In the digital age, meaning becomes relative. Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, draws from its permanent collection, selecting works that offer dialogues between moving and still images. By reflecting on the power of photographs to shape narratives in the 21st century, the exhibition invites viewers to question perceptions. Featured artists include Alex Prager, John Baldessari, Peter Campus and Nancy Holt.
