Sydony Greenwood has focused on the Hans Christian Andersen version of The Little Mermaid. Greenwood designed a series of six sets – portraying the story’s turbulent emotions. To show movement, the artist included automata, and colour theory was used to represent the development of emotions. Greenwood has used a variety of texture and materials, specifically focusing on techniques like the heat press, collage, model making and colour matching inks.
