Sydony Greenwood has focused on the Hans Christian Andersen version of The Little Mermaid. Greenwood designed a series of six sets – portraying the story’s turbulent emotions. To show movement, the artist included automata, and colour theory was used to represent the development of emotions. Greenwood has used a variety of texture and materials, specifically focusing on techniques like the heat press, collage, model making and colour matching inks.
Emma Pearson’s project was based around the ADHD brain and overstimulation, exploring the less commonly spoken about symptoms.
