Space Age, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Paris Pantin

This month, Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac, Paris Pantin, will examine historic and commissioned works by 20 contemporary artists in a new group presentation entitled Space Age. Since the dawn of mankind the sky and outer space have been a field for multiple fascinations, desires, projections and relentless scientific and artistic curiosity. The exhibition explores Daedalus’ and one of humanity’s most archaic collective dreams: the conquest of the skies and the immersion in the cosmos, through the work of Cory Arcangel, Richard Artschwager, Lee Bul, Harun Farocki, Dan Flavin, Alex Katz, Anselm Kiefer, Robert Rauschenberg, James Rosenquist, Tom Sachs and others. Opens 27 September.
