White Rabbit is a two-dimensional animation short that encompasses science fiction and mythic themes. The use of visual metaphors and symbolism has allowed Sam Webster to explore ideas of heritage, culture, social media and technology. The resulting short animated film reflects upon the artist’s fascination for sound whilst using a transcendental and ephemeral animated style to pinpoint the transformation from mortals to godlike cybernetics. Webster’s aim is to produce a colourful and psychedelic animation whilst using symbolism and metaphors to convey the meaning of human fate.
