Mathieu Asselin’s Monsanto: A Photographic Investigation brings together five years of research into the global biotechnology corporation. Its practices and products have caused striking personal, ecological and economic consequences and, by travelling across the US and Vietnam, Asselin encounters the people and places dramatically affected.
The project, which won Aperture Foundation‘s Photobook Award and is nominated for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize, is on display at Fotomuseum, Antwerp, from 9 March. Find out more here.
