Irish-born writer Jennifer Roe won our Creative Writing Award in 2013 for her fiction Roses are Red – a story of tragedy and abuse within a family. She gained her Masters in Creative Writing in 2016 from the University of East Anglia, where she started writing her first novel. Jennifer’s fiction is inspired by music which is her passion alongside writing. She is currently an English teacher.
