Currently undertaking a Visual Communications module as part of his Foundation Degree, Jamie Woods has decided to pursue a BA in Creative Advertising in the autumn of 2020. The creative process of working to briefs and applying concepts to explore new ways of communication is truly exciting. He has a drive to see the bigger picture but believes that it’s the details that make a project a success. For his final major project, he looked at the area of “new masculinity” and how it’s an area of contemporary society that is ever-changing and in flux. Initially the idea had been to produce a zine, but this quickly developed into a clean and refined packaging outcome. The learning process has been incredibly rewarding and he is looking forward to pushing himself further in his higher education studies.
