Ed van der Elsken is recognised as one of the most important Dutch photographers of the 20th century. A retrospective at Fundación MAPFRE, Madrid, explores his oeuvre, which captures youth culture in major cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
