Jasmine Chow, known by her online alias Ilyscia, works primarily in digital art as an illustrator. Her focus on characters and the human figure is inspired by manga and provides an intimate lens into a fantasy narrative. This is unfolded through expressions and body language, driving the reveries of the individual using what is familiar and what is fantastical. The imperfections of the sketchy linework are captured using imitations of pencil and paper textures and embrace the whimsical essence at the heart of the illustrations to create a liberated expression of the self.
Lauren Summerson is a photographer whose work centres around portrait and product photography. She uses images to explore socio-political issues.
