Emma Toma is an American photographer. Since moving to London, she has developed a deep appreciation for her native landscape and its people. A creative journey led to her ongoing project entitled Bare Boned – a documentary project that developed in reaction to the death of Toma’s grandfather. In the series, set in Missouri, she attempts to confront themes of loss, closure and the complexity of home life and family dynamics.
