Siqi Li is a visual artist based between London and Beijing whose practice is informed by her Chinese roots. The research-based work explores the notion of history, memory, longing and belonging as well as its relationship to the landscape and its inhabitants. Li often makes references to historical events and literature and uses metaphors as a means to reveal the truth behind the material reality of a photograph.
Vanessa Endeley was born and raised in Lagos. Her individual portraits are brought to life using a lot of colour, and are often obscured by blindfolds.
