Both decorative and highly functional, each of Di Hieu Vu’s products either have a story behind them, or a problem to solve. Her projects include unique giftware and accessories as well as traditional handcrafted furniture, utilising a range of materials such as ceramics, wood, metals and plastics. Multi-dimensional and multi-disciplinary, her works are largely inspired by simple shapes and form, elevating modernism and minimalism to create practical approaches to the everyday. Divu’s final product combines fashion and innovation, creating shoes that are inspired by couture and sport lines.
