Convivial Space

The 2017 edition of Maison & Objet, opening in Paris on 8 September, will explore the theme of Comfort Zone. The product of year-round collaborative work by members of the fair’s Observatory, the theme collates this year’s design offerings into a cohesive survey of contemporary innovation. François Bernard will curate a selection of objects by leading brands in the Inspirations Space, which will be accompanied by a Bookshop-Café with a variety of sources illustrating the theme. In addition, the Inspirations Book will shed light on the notion of comfort from various forward-looking perspectives, while the Conference Space will provide an opportunity to further explore how the theme fits into design agendas today.

Maison & Objet will also welcome WOHA Architects, elected Designer of the Year Asia 2017, as well as one of the winners of Rising Talent Awards Asia 2017.  DESIGNER OF THE YEAR ASIA 2017, as well as the 5 winners of the RISING TALENT AWARDS ASIA 2017. Based in Singapore, the firm is known for its ability to integrate environmental and social elements in its inventive projects.
