The third edition of World Art Dubai runs from 12 to 15 April at the Dubai World Trade Centre, meeting the growing demand for affordable, contemporary art in the Middle East. The fair will include new segments as well as dedicated spaces for over 120 galleries, solo artists and group shows representing a dynamic display of art and culture from all over the world.
Welcoming both new and long-standing collectors, World Art Dubai showcases an impressive global collection of contemporary paintings, prints, sculptures, photographs and mix media artworks for sale. This year sees the return of the Emerging Artist Awards, recognising the next generation of talented practitioners from within the seven emirates.
For those looking to enhance their knowledge of the contemporary art sector, the fair also invites visitors to participate in a series of activities. Designed to enrich visitors’ experiences of the fair, they include installation tours, creative masterclasses, a fashion show of work from rising stars and specially dedicated exhibitions to offer insight into the regions rich history and cultural traditions.
Exhibition Islam is dedicated exclusivity to contemporary works inspired by cultural traditions of the Middle East, and provides an opportunity to explore the region’s art within its wider social context, spanning the past, present, and future.
