Aperture’s touring exhibition, Tiny: Streetwise Revisited, provides a moving education about one of the more complex sides of American life, as well as insight into the unique relationship that developed between artist and subject over 30 years. The selection of prints for the exhibition, drawn from the original project begun in 1983, was made by Mary Ellen Mark in conjunction with Aperture editor Melissa Harris before Mark’s death in 2015. The show is currently on display at Seattle Public Library and will travel to Suzanne H. Arnold Art Gallery, Lebanon Valley College in 2017.
