Unique Perceptions

Unique Perceptions
Using infrared techniques, artist and photographer Sanne De Wilde captures Pingelap and Pohnpei, islands in Micronesia. A large proportion of the islands’ inhabitants have achromatopsia, and De Wilde’s series of images metaphorically envisions the world from their perspective.

The book, entitled The Island of the Colorblind, is published by Kehrer Verlag, and is on display at SCOPE Hannover until 30 June. Find out more here.
