Ann Shelton’s body of work occupies the space between documentary and conceptual photography. The large-scale, often hyperreal images on display at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetu, New Zealand, investigate collective histories, unearthing narratives hidden within the contemporary landscape.
