Comprising visually arresting black and white images of the Yosemite Valley and other landscapes of the American West, From Ansel Adams to Infinity at Chrysler Museum of Art, Virginia, celebrates the sublimity of these sites whilst paying tribute to an iconic photographer.
The show highlights Adams’ legacy by celebrating a new generation of contemporary image-makers examining the natural world – otherworldly compositions by David Benjamin Sherry offer dialogues with the digitally-manipulated scenes of Penelope Umbrico.
The exhibition runs until 27 January. Find out more here.
