Morgan Scott is an English artist based in Suffolk. Her work is based on female empowerment and sexual liberation. She illustrates and sculpts with these ideas in mind, to “invoke the inner demons within women.” Scott responds to the ways in which, throughout history, women have been demonised: for their bodies, sexuality, femininity, strength and intelligence. Scott sheds light on these social issues and turns the tables; she wants to normalise female sexuality and liberate women so that they can, in the artist’s words, “embrace their own inner demons.”
