Inclusive Sensibility

Inclusive Sensibility

“My greatest strength has been empathy with others different from myself.” – Danny Lyon.

As part of CO Berlin’s summer exhibition programme, Danny Lyon’s photography comes to the fore, demonstrating an acute sensibility to the human condition through socially engaged compositions. Across 50 years, Lyon became a pioneering and unmistakable witness to the political battles of the 20th century – an engaged observer with an overriding interest in groups and subcultures considered to be on the margins of society.

Danny Lyon opens on 16 September. For more information: www.co-berlin.org
