Idiosyncratic Surroundings

A new exhibition at National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, celebrates the British seaside experience through the lenses of Tony Ray-Jones, David Hurn and Simon Roberts and Martin Parr. Comprising over 100 images, the collection traverses the piers, arcades and beaches that define the coastal topography, offering a range of approaches to the subject matter – from satire to social commentary.
