Georgie Pike’s collection comprises embroidered vintage dresses. The embroidery is influenced by pattern and shape, with heavily embellished floral embossments. “By embellishing onto second-hand items I am giving them a new lease of life,” explains Pike, who uses the idea of spirituality to tap into the importance of considerate textiles. Enlightenment was influenced by the artist’s personal spiritual practice, using intuitive art.
