Colour is more than just a form of expression for American photographer Joel Meyerowitz. It intensifies the everyday and brings to life extraordinary moments from the quotidian. Leading the viewer through streets, cities, and urban landscapes of America, his lens captures what would otherwise be overlooked. The Why Color? Retrospective at C/O Berlin presents his colour prints from the 1960s to the present day.
