Eric Cheng is a documenter of urban landscapes. Through pastel filters and neon glow, he captures the wash of lights and colours associated with the city.
The images navigate stacked complexes, street signs and telephone wires, suffused by pale pink sunlight. Shadows linger around windows and building walls – from the back of mountains and under awnings.
Cheng is interested by the isolation of everyday life – through the lone traveller or from the loneliness that can occur within globalised, hyper-amplified environments.
