In 1960, a devastating earthquake destroyed much of the modernist Moroccan city of Agadir. Multimedia artist Yto Barrada addresses the process of reinvention through film, sculptures and a series of live and recorded performances, interlacing personal and political narratives.
Yto Barrada: Agadir runs at Barbican Centre, London, from 7 February. Find out more: www.barbican.org.uk.
