An Otherworldly Residence
Celebrating the launch of a new studio programme aimed at experimental spaces, Fernando Mastrangelo’s (@iamfm on Instagram) uncanny interior bridges the boundary between the real and the imagined, reinventing an everyday domestic setting to create a surreal experience. The designer uses this same visual language to explore a new bookcase in a 1stdibs show, coinciding with Salone del Mobile, Milan.

Can Machines Think? Review of The Imitation Game, Manchester Art Gallery

“Can machines think? Are there imaginable digital computers which would do well in the imitation game?” asked Alan Turing in his landmark paper, Computing Machinery and Intelligence. Turing’s study was published in 1950, but the question whether machines can successfully imitate human behaviour still resonates today.
