Amelia Wilson-Wood’s practice centres around music and enjoyment. Through illustration, she expresses her experiences of events she has attended. In doing so, she often finds herself gravitating towards the concept of advertising artwork. Wilson-Wood acquires her inspiration from everyday surroundings. Much of her imagery is focused on organic and natural forms – combined with her love and passion for music. Her work aims to project a sense of excitement – giving off a fun, energetic vibe. She experiments with a variation of materials which allows her to explore new ways of working. This refers to watercolour paints as well as digital development.
