Visionary Installation

Visionary Installation

Marking the 35th anniversary of Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s site-specific installation Surrounded Islands (1983),  a documentary exhibition at Pérez Art Museum Miami tracks the work from conception to realisation – pushing past the boundaries of creative vision.

The piece enshrouded 11 of Miami’s man-made islands in 6.5 million square feet of bold polypropylene fabric, creating a visually arresting landscape of pink, blue and green and making an unprecedented impact on the region’s art scene.

On view until 17 February. Find out more here.
