Transient Forms

Transient Forms

Captured on Ireland’s western Atlantic coast, photographer Eamonn Doyle’s striking new series, K, is set against a compelling and fitting backdrop untouched by human presence.

Tracking a shape-shifting figure enshrouded in brightly coloured cloth, the body of work comprises bold yet ethereal compositions which combine stark contrasts with a compelling transience.

As the form is continually moved by the elements, the works offer a poignant reflection on the experiences of grief and the passing of time, looking to the contemporary forces of the city and the movement of people.

The collection is published in a new book, now available from Michael Hoppen Gallery. Find out more here.
