Talent Exposure

Establishing the city as a key art fair destination, Expo Chicago, the International Exposition of Contemporary & Modern Art, returns to the iconic Navy Pier. Running until 17 September, it coincides with the launch of the Chicago Architecture Biennial (16 September – 7 January), and marks the beginning of Expo Chicago’s official partnership with the Palais de Tokyo and Institut Français, which is made visible in off-site exhibition, Singing Stones, open until 29 October. The fair’s programme features the Exposure section, presenting solo and two-artist shows represented by galleries eight years and younger; /Dialogues and Exchange, a line-up of topical discussions by leading figures in the industry; and large-scale, site-specific works in the In/Situ and Expo Projects sections.
