Refined Sensibilities

Refined Sensibilities

Hans Hansen (b.1940) captures inanimate things. The objects in his images are always isolated and perfectly illuminated; form, colour and the material of objects are meticulously compared and contrasted. Still Life at C/O Berlin includes a selection of the German photographer’s independent and commissioned works to provide an overview of the sensual quality of his objects, as well as of his artistic and technical production of images. The display, on view until 10 September, leads us through the intimate documentation of industrial, artisanal and natural items.
