’31 is a fine art photography series concerned with the societal development of western cultures. The tableaux of the on-going project ’31 explores the parallels between the early 1930s and present-day reality by using visual references to novels and paintings of New Objectivity. Daniel wants this presentation to pull viewers into the subject’s world, give them time to realise the reappearance of the past and the possibility to question our current trajectory.
