Vikram Kushwah has featured in the Aesthetica Art Prize multiple times over the years. He creates powerful photographic portraits and fine art images, many of which explore ideas of the uncanny. Recently, he was shortlisted by the National Portrait Gallery, London, for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize 2019. He is a Portrait of Britain 2018 and 2019 winner, working for publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, The Financial Times, and Elle.
