Chance plays an important role in Rutschmann’ artistic process, with final works often unintentional byproducts of a continuing process. Consisting of spring steel rods suspended from a metal frame structure, in dim light Oscillator is almost invisible – however, illuminated, a complex, multi-layered structure comes into being.
