Chang’s installations challenge the conventional notion of the role of machines in our world. It is a metaphor for a society where products, political discourse, and ideologies are produced. Working with biologist Andreas von Bresinsky, the artist constructed an indoor fish farming environment using equipment from the aquaculture lab Fischwirtschaftsbetrieb.
