Tim Max Hetherington is a photographer and filmmaker from the Midlands in England. Humanland is the place the artist began a search to represent scale, alteration and intensification of landscape by humankind. Taking viewpoints from land, sea and air shows unfamiliar aspects of terrain. Hetherington’s references are shifting currents of environmentalism and questions of ecological citizenship provoked by the New Topographics movement.
