Tasha Marks’s background as a food historian with a specialism in sugar informs her work, which tells stories through all the senses, including taste and scent. Obsidian Air was an experience created in response to the V&A exhibition of designer Alexander McQueen, in which a murky black liquid creates floating cherry-flavoured bubbles for the audience to consume.
