Black door with snow was Kocher’s shortlisted poem for the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award 2017. Since then she has won the 2019 Peter Steele Poetry Award . She was shortlisted in the 2020 MPU Annual International Poetry Competition and went on to win 2nd Prize in 2021. Shortly after, she was longlisted for the Kuracca Prize for Australian Literature and was published in the Overland Literary Journal as a result.
