Fin and Me, from the series No Fucking Agender (2019-2021).
Critical thinking, politics, research, science, community, psychology, magic, experimentation, intuition, communication, travel and grassroots activism inform Ruth Hogg’s diverse projects. Hogg is a multidisciplinary artist working with photographic installation, found objects, film, performance and movement as well as sculpture, poetry, music, drawing, textile and printmaking. Her work is often a reverence of nature; light, water and earth being recurring elements, with symbols, patterns and mandalas understood and conveyed in the work. She likes working collaboratively to provide an immersive and interactive experience for the audience.
