The poet was shortlisted for the Aesthetica Creative Writing Award 2018. Alongside gaining her doctorate in 2019 she won the Highland Book Prize and had her dual-language debut collection published in Polygon for which she received the prestigious Edwin Morgan Poetry Prize for Scottish Poets under 30. In 2020 she received both an Eric Gregory and Somerset Maughum Award. She is currently Poetry Editor for literary journal The Island Review.
