Romina Ressia was born in Argentina in 1981. The artist’s practice is an analysis of contemporary society – charting how it has evolved through historical reference. These photographs belong to a series titled Family Portraits, which is still in progress. The project is a construction. Each character was meticulously selected according to a preconceived idea about their personality – their role within the family.
