Ekdysis
Ekdysis is an ongoing project that is realised through performance, video and installation. The work draws a parallel of female subjectivities and nature; both are seen as wild and irrational under patriarchy, and thus have been subjugated and “tamed” throughout his-tory. She uses installation, video, soundscapes, text, voice-over, live image feed and live acts to explore themes related to ecology, posthumanism and (trans)gender politics.
