Nicholas Kulkarni

Kulkarni’s work uses patterns – derived from logic and order – to create optical illusions that examine this question. In Misdirection, the checked pattern – curved in a two-point perspective – is like a great wave towering above the head of the viewer. Each section of the composition is unique in its form and dimensions.
