Mirren Kessling

A graduate of the Ruskin School of Art, Mirren Kessling aims to capture subjects in a state of unreality within a genuine and unaltered moment – as a rule the artist does not edit the digital images and film works. The Head was influenced by research into the symbolism of historical portraits such as Delaroche’s The Execution of Lady Jane Grey (1833).
