For No night, no light (village #0.1), Miriam Donkers noticed that between small villages the boundaries of light and darkness in the night are very clear. Based on research about visual perspective and artificial illumination in the polder area of the Netherlands, the series highlights that these are the places where artificial light has its limitations.
