Loz Atkinson is a multidisciplinary artist, who has been practising for over 12 years. Her work is provocative yet hopeful, full of visual and evocative depth. Inspired by interconnections between science, nature, anthropology and the cosmos. Atkinson’s most recent solo exhibition, The Edge of Forever, brings together key works from the Imagined Nebula series, some of which have been digitally “bounced” off the Moon. Atkinson has had projects supported by Arts Council England including Expedition JP237, which saw her climb an Italian mountain to discover the fatal crash site of her Great Grandfather’s WW2 Halifax bomber.
